Glider freshly (2024) professionally refinished in MIPA 2K PUR colour T90 (purest white with no pigments to allow any local painting if needed in the future to be completely invisible). In addition, the top surfaces of the wings were covered in a fine layer of glass and post cured to avoid the need for refinishing ever again.
Glider has never been broken. Photos available of the glider after paint stripping.
New interior.
Composite Cobra trailer. Professionally refinished in glider refinishing technology. All sprayed. ESD primer + 2K PUR + 2K clear coat.
New original Cobra spindelberger: Complete mudguards, sealing all around, air vents, galvanised hatches, New tyres
Glider will be sold with NEO winglets fitted. Due to DG's failure to deliver as promised, delivery of the NEO winglet kits has been delayed by 5 months, but is now being shipped to the UK and is expected here next week. Winglets will be fitted by the end of April and can be painted in the colour of your choice.
Glider has been registered in the UK since new. No registration or comp numbers applied yet so they can be of your choice as well.
Glider has ~2000 hours
Instruments: Smaller panel version for more legroom. Flarm, Cai 302, 8.33 radio and ususal Winter Analogue instruments.
Full ground equipment
New seal tapes (Mylar etc.)
Rumour has it that with new handicaps it's one of the best (if not the best) glider in the club class. It doesn't require any investment and is in 10/10 condition. Will be sold with fresh ARC and annual. Any other changes such as new instrument panel of your choice can be discussed.
The glider can be seen any day and any time at Southern Sailplanes - Membury Airfield.
